What SplitShot is (and isn't)

SplitShot provides estimated card values computed from publicly available market data. Estimates are for guidance and entertainment: they are not appraisals, not offers to buy or sell, and not financial or investment advice. Card markets move, data sources lag, and individual sales vary — always verify current listings before transacting, and never make financial decisions on an estimate alone.

No warranty & limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, SplitShot and its operator are not liable for any damages arising from use of the site or reliance on its estimates, including losses on card purchases or sales.

Affiliate disclosure

SplitShot is monetized through affiliate links. As an Amazon Associate, SplitShot earns from qualifying purchases. We also participate in the eBay Partner Network and the TCGplayer affiliate program (via Impact). When you buy through our links, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. Affiliate relationships never influence valuations — values are computed from market data before any link is generated, and we link to multiple competing marketplaces.

Intellectual property

Pokémon is a trademark of Nintendo, Creatures Inc., and Game Freak; Magic: The Gathering of Wizards of the Coast; Yu-Gi-Oh! of Konami; Disney Lorcana of Disney and Ravensburger. SplitShot is an independent price-information tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed, sponsored, or approved by any of these companies. Card images are served from the public card-data APIs we credit in the footer and remain the property of their respective rights holders; they are displayed for identification purposes. Rights holders who want material removed can reach the operator through the site's hosting provider, and we will act promptly on valid requests.

Accounts

Sync accounts are optional. You're responsible for access to the email address you sign in with. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service. You can stop using the service at any time; see the Privacy Policy for what's stored and how to clear it.

Acceptable use

Don't abuse the service: no attempts to disrupt it, scrape it at volumes that degrade it for others, or misrepresent SplitShot estimates as formal appraisals.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which the operator resides, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
